Choosing the right pet can be a daunting task. Do you go for a manageable hamster that will only live around three years or a loyal and energetic dog that you’ll love for 15? Perhaps you’re more of a cat person, but your partner prefers exotic pets like snakes and lizards?
The truth is there is no “perfect” choice when it comes to choosing a pet… Until now.
If you’ve ever thought you’d love a cow as a pet but found their large size to be rather off-putting, then let me introduce you to the adorable mini cow.
According to LovableLittleOnes.com, miniature cows make “exceptional pets” and “demonstrate a great deal of affection, are very social, and are easy to take care of.”
Meet Moochi, the adorable mini cow:
And as well as being “udder-ly” adorable, these miniature cows are also rather handy to have around. As well as acting as your own personal lawnmower, they also produce fertilizer all year around – meaning your flowerbeds will never look dull.
According to Rural Living Today, most miniature cows range from 36 to 42 inches in size, so no bigger than a large dog.
Check out this adorable micro cow playing with a dog and a child – my heart can’t handle it:
Worried about having a cow in the house? Fear not – because they will be very happy outside and can be easily contained with a simple hot-wire.
The work that comes with maintaining and looking after a micro cow is also great for teaching children responsibility. Set them chores of cleaning out their paddock or shampooing their adorable fur coats. Fortunately, their tiny stature makes them safe and simple for anybody to care for.
Lovable Little Ones state on their website that they are always striving to breed incredible micro cows that make the perfect pet for any age range:
“Our miniature cow farm is located in Eastern Colorado where we are currently raising pet quality miniature and micro-miniature cows. At Lovable Little Ones™ we take pride in working with and developing our calves to be exceptional pets. Our calves are halter broke, trained to be around adults and children, and of course lovable. It is our goal to be one of the best miniature cattle breeders in the United States that produces the highest quality miniature cattle with lovable dispositions and great personalities.”
